| EXISTING CUSTOMER HELP LINE |
If you experience any loss of signal or have recently had a power cut and need to reset your digi-box please call our help line We are able to take your calls Monday to Friday from 9am until 8pm Saturday & Sunday from 10am until 2pm Telephone Land Line (0034) 968 432 611 Mobile (0034) 618 258 055 PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CALLING US THIS SERVICE IS FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS ONLY If you have had a power cut, the digibox refuses to respond to the remote, or you see the messages “no satellite signal“ or “there is a technical fault with this channel” displayed on every channel, please carry out the following before calling us. Check that there is nothing obstructing the face of the LNB nearest the dish, and that there are no insects or foreign objects up inside it - LOOK CLOSELY !!!! Check that all cables are still firmly connected to the rear of the digibox and the TV, and also at the other end in the LNB on the front of your dish. If all of the above is ok , then your digibox probably requires a “reset” – usually after a power cut, a build-up of static, or just randomly on some version boxes. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE DISH, LNB, OR BASH THE DIGIBOX THIS WILL NOT WORK AND MAY RESULT IN A CHARGEABLE CALL OUT FEE Instead , carry out the following ; Unplug the sky box from the mains for 10 seconds. Plug it back in (the light on the front should now be red. ) and wait for 5 minutes. Turn on the sky box, the light on the front should turn green. You may get a message on the screen to press the “backup” button – if so, press it and wait for the picture to come on ( approx 1 minute ) if “no satellite signal” is still displayed, then call us to reset your Sky box. Please unplug the Sky box before calling us and use a phone where you can see your Sky box so that we can talk you through the easy to follow reset process for which you will also need your remote control to hand. |
